Collaborative Worker

During my high school years here at SciTech, I have been a very successfully collaborative worker. I have had the class peer education which helped me very much in team work. I had to do group projects which required me to work with other people in order to make students aware of STD’s, drunk driving, and bullying. Doing these presentations helped me be a better group member, leader and presenter. In order to put these presentations together I had to listen to the team leader give me orders on what to do and I had to cooperate with other team members.
Another example of me being a very good collaborative worker is while in my website design class. In that class I am considered a student helper. I help students with their websites if they need so. I help them with such programs as Dream Weaver, Photoshop, Adobe Flash and Fireworks. Instead of being quiet and just sit there and I either go on my own or do my work in other classes, I help anyone who needs it; even if the help is something as simple as adding a “
tag” on their website I help them.
Being a collaborative worker is an important skill everyone should obtain. Ever since I started high school, I have been able to get out of my shell. I thought I would always be quiet and work by myself but instead, thanks to the classes and group projects, I was able to stop working alone and work with different groups; it wasn’t that big of a hassle either.
